PARTICIPATING<\/span><\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/nav>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The following terms and conditions are an integral part of your registration to participate in the 28th Sri Chinmoy Marathon 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Information about the event<br>1.1. Event Name: 28th Sri Chinmoy Marathon (in Macedonian: 28-\u043c\u0438 \u0428\u0440\u0438 \u0427\u0438\u043d\u043c\u043e\u0458 \u043c\u0430\u0440\u0430\u0442\u043e\u043d)<br>1.2. The event will take place on March 14, 2027 (Sunday) at 7:00 AM, in Skopje \u2013 City Park, near Luna Park. The event organizer reserves the right to change the date and\/or time of the races if the conditions require such changes.<br>1.3. Event organiser: Sri Chinmoy Athletic Club Skopje<br>1.4. Official language of the event: Macedonian and English<br>1.5. Races: Marathon (42.194 m), Half-marathon (21.097 m), and 10K (10.000 m)<br>1.6. All three races are internationally certified \u2013 measured and verified by an accredited World Athletics \/ AIMS measurer, Grade B (certificate number, respectively for each race: MKD2025-011, MKD2025-010 and MKD2025-011).<br>1.7. The terms of the event apply to all participants and are an integral part of the conditions for participation in the race, and by registering, the participant accepts the conditions for participation, as well as the rights and obligations regulated by the terms of participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Participants\u2019 registration and responsibilities<br>2.1. The registration opens on April 13, 2026 at 12:00 PM, and closes on March 7, 2027 at 11:59 PM. Registration on race day is not possible.<br>2.3. There is a limited number of participants for the races and the registration is closed at the moment the number of participants is reached, which may be before the deadline of March 7, 2027.<br>2.3. Each participant is responsible for his\/her own psychophysical condition, fitness and health for participating in the race.<br>2.4. Participants participate at their own risk. The organizer does not bear any legal consequences in case of bodily injury, other health problems or death, damage to the participant\u2019s equipment and aids, injury to a child in a stroller. The medical team has the right to remove the participant from the race if it finds a danger to his health.<br>2.5. The organizer is obliged to provide emergency medical care during the race.<br>2.6. By registering for the race, the participant agrees that the organizer may use photographs and videos taken during, immediately before and after the race, including all types of advertising on radio, TV and the Internet, as well as for other advertising needs of the organizer.<br>2.7. Each registered participant must run with the race number\/bib assigned to him\/her in the race packet and it is not possible to transfer it to another person, in any case, even in the case when it is not possible for him\/her to participate in the event for any reason. Race registration is strictly personal. The participant confirms that all entered data in the application is correct.<br>2.8. The time limit for the marathon is 6 hours. The time limit for the half-marathon is 5 hours. The time limit for the 10K race is 3 hours.<br>2.8. In the case of rescheduling of the race due to epidemiological situation in the country or other unforeseen circumstances, the fee shall not be refunded, and the registration will be valid for next race organized by Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Race packets <br>3.1. 3.1. Race packets are to be picked up at the Lotus Fountain, Skopje City Park, during the following hours: <br>12.3.2027 (Friday) from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM <br>13.3.2027 (Saturday) from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM<br>3.2. Race packets include: start number\/bib, medal for all participants who finish the race, digital certificate for all participants, trophy for the winners (first, second and third place), digital photographs, storage of personal belongings during the race, preparation and securing of the course, timekeeping, refreshments during the race, toilets available at the start\/finish area, medical assistance, t-shirt (custom race t-shirt for 7 euros with orders through February 28, 2027).<br>3.3. In order to pick up the race packet, it is necessary to show the notification of registration sent as an e-mail (in electronic or paper form) or an identification document, ID card or travel document.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Participation in the race<br>4.1. Participation in the race is possible only with the race number\/bib provided by the organizer.<br>4.2. The race number\/bib is placed on the front of the shirt and must be visible at all times during the race and during the entry to the finish line.<br>4.3. On the back of the race number\/bib is placed timekeeping chip which you must not damage\/destroy (bend) in any way, otherwise your time will not be recorded.<br>4.4. Results are available online during the race and after the race at a link that will be published by the organizer before the start of the race. An appeal regarding the results of the top 3 must be submitted within 30 minutes after the race ends, in writing, to the official judges. The deadline for submitting an appeal regarding the remaining results is 24 hours after the race ends, via e-mail. After the expiration of the right to appeal, the results become official. <br>4.5. Participants under the age requirements for each race must provide a parental permission\/written statement of a parent\/guardian and a medical certificate for participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Permitted and prohibited equipment<br>5.1. No use of roller skates, scooters, bicycles or other wheeled aids is permitted in the race. Exceptions are made for people with limited mobility who cannot move without aids.<br>5.2. All race participants take part in the race independently.<br>5.3. Participation of runners with a child in a stroller or a wheelchair is permitted with a prior notice to the organizer, and they take place in the last lines of participants at the starting point.<br>5.4. The participants are allowed to participate in the race with a dog on a leash, with a prior notice to the organizer, and they take place in the last lines of participants at the starting point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Code of conduct<br>6.1. All participants must comply with the instructions of the organizer or organizer representatives at all times.<br>6.2. All participants must behave in a sportsmanlike manner and with respect towards other participants, visitors and the organizer or representatives of the organizer at all times.<br>6.3. Failure to comply with the rules of sportsmanlike conduct may result in a penalty or disqualification in accordance with the organizer\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Change of rules<br>7.1. The organizer reserves the right to change the rules, terms and conditions, and the date\/time of the races if the conditions require such changes.<br>7.2.
