(8:00 PM) until sunup (5:00 AM), it is recommended for participants to wear headlamps or some other type of lighting on other part of the body, due to reduced visibility, which participants should provide for themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start\/finish area will be staffed overnight.<br>A cyclist will circle the course continuously from sundown (8:00 PM) until sunup (5:00 AM).<br>The police station has been notified about this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU), which follows the rules of World Athletics, any commercially-available shoes with shoe sole no greater than thicknesses of 40mm and maximum one carbon plate is permitted (<a href=\"https:\/\/iau-ultramarathon.org\/shoes-regulation-applicable-to-ultradistance.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/iau-ultramarathon.org\/shoes-regulation-applicable-to-ultradistance.html<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Sri Chinmoy 24-12-6 Hour Race holds a bronze label from the International Association of Ultrarunners (IAU Bronze Label) and therefore the race follows the rules of the International Association of Ultrarunners and World
