How do I get to the race start location?
In order to get to the start of the race, you can enter the following coordinates in your preferred online map or navigation app: 42.00894, 21.42123. This will take you directly to the station at the start area, which is located in Skopje City Park, near Luna Park. Alternatively, you can enter the “Sri Chinmoy Marathon, Skopje” location in your preferred online map or navigation app and this will also take you directly to the start of the race.
Could I change my registration from one race to another at this event?
Yes! We offer the flexibility to change your race after registration. If you decide to change your race, you can easily do so after you have registered. In that case, please contact our support team via e-mail or by phone and we will help you change your registration. Please note that all changes must be made before the specified registration deadline. This option gives you the freedom to choose the distance that suits best your current training goals or race for the day, and will provide a more fulfilling experience.
Could I leave my bag at the station?
Participants can leave their bags at the specified storage station near the start/finish area. This station will be appropriately marked and will allow you to safely leave your personal belongings while you focus on the race. Make sure to label your bag with your start number for easy identification. After the race, you can pick up your bag from the same station.
We encourage you to bring with you only essentials as we cannot be responsible for any valuables. If you have any questions or need assistance on race day, our staff will be available to assist you!
I have food allergies.
If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, we recommend that you bring your own food and/or hydration to ensure you have what you need during the race. If you have any questions or concerns regarding refreshments, please contact us in a timely manner for further clarification. Your safety and comfort are our priority!
May my coach/friend keep pace with me during the race?
Pacing is not allowed in the races as the motto and focus of the event is self-transcendence. These races are designed to encourage all participants to challenge themselves and go beyond their limits. All participants compete independently, striving to exceed their own ability and limitations, and in doing so, to experience a sense of accomplishment, rather than relying on external pacing.
The spirit of the races is to be found in pushing your own limits and finding strength from within. Therefore, we encourage you to fully embrace this opportunity to exceed your own expectations. Your journey is your own, and meeting the challenge is a personal endeavor!
