Terms and conditions for participating in the 2nd Sri Chinmoy 24-12-6 Hour Race


The following terms and conditions are an integral part of your registration to participate in the 2nd Sri Chinmoy 24-12-6 Hour Race.

  1. Information about the event
    1.1 Name of the event: 2nd Sri Chinmoy 24-12-6 Hour Race
    1.2. The event will take place on Mat 31, 2025 (Sutarday) at 8:00 AM, in Skopje – City Park, near Luna Park. The event organizer reserves the right to change the date and/or time of the races if the conditions require such changes.
    1.3. Event organizer: Шри Чинмој маратон тим®
    1.4. Official language of the event: Macedonian and English
    1.5 Races: 24-Hour Race, 12-Hour Race and 6-Hour Race

  2. Participants’ registration and responsibilities
    2.1. The registration opens on November 23, 2024 at 12:00 PM, and closes on May 25, 2025 at 11:59 PM. Registration on the day of the race is not possible.
    2.2. Following the deadline, the registration details can be changed without charge, only by requesting a change via e-mail at info@srichinmoyraces.mk no later than May 25, 2025.
    2.3. There is a limited number of participants for the races and the registration is closed at the moment the number of participants is reached, which may be before the deadline of May 25, 2025.
    2.4. Each participant is responsible for his/her own psychophysical condition, fitness and health for participation in the race.
    2.5. Participants participate at their own risk. The organizer does not bear any legal consequences in case of bodily injury, other health problems or death, damage to the participant’s equipment and aids, injury to a child in a stroller. The medical team has the right to remove the participant from the race if it finds a danger to his health.
    2.6. The organizer is obliged to provide emergency medical care during the race.
    2.7. By registering for the race, the participant agrees that the organizer may use photos and videos taken during, immediately before and after the race, including all types of advertising on radio, TV and the Internet, as well as for other advertising needs of the organizer.
    2.8. Each registered participant must run with the race number/bib assigned to him/her in the race packet and it is not possible to transfer it to another person, in any case, even in the case when it is not possible for him/her to participate in the event for any reason. Race registration is strictly personal. The participant confirms that all entered data in the application is correct.
    2.9. In the case of rescheduling of the race due to epidemiological situation in the country or other unforeseen circumstances, the fee shall not be refunded, and the registration will be valid for the next race.

  3. 3. Race packets
    3.1 The race packets are picked up 30-60 minutes before the start of the race.
    3.2. The race packet for the marathon and half-marathon consists of: preparation of and securing the track, refreshment/aid station, timekeeping, medical team at start/finish zone, event management staff, personal belongings storage services during the race, toilets available at the start/finish line and along the track, Hamelin string bag with printed event name and logo, race number/bib with a chip for timekeeping, t-shirt (for additional fee, individual choice depending on selected option during registration), race participation medal, paper diploma, trophies for winners (first, second and third place), digital photos.
    3.3. In order to pick up the race packet, it is necessary to show the notification of registration sent as an e-mail (in electronic or paper form) or an identification document, ID card or travel document.

  4. Participation in the race
    4.1. Participation in the race is possible only with the race number/bib provided by the organizer.
    4.2. The race number/bib is placed on the front of the shirt and must be visible at all times during the race and during the entry to the finish line.
    4.3. On the back of the race number/bib is placed timing chip which you must not damage/destroy (bend) in any way, otherwise your time will not be recorded.
    4.4 The races are timed and the winner is declared the participant with the highest number of laps, i.e. kilometers, within 24, 12 or 6 hours, respectively, for each race.
    4.5. The results are available online during and after the races on the link published by the organizer before the start of the races. Complaints against the results of the first three winners may be filed within 30 minutes after the end of the races in writing to the official referees. The deadline for filing complaints regarding the remaining results is within 24 hours after the end of the races, only by e-mail. Once the deadline for complaints has finished, the results become official.
    4.6. Participants under the age of 18 must provide a parental permission/written statement of a parent/guardian and a medical certificate for participation.

  5. Permitted and prohibited equipment
    5.1. No use of roller skates, scooters, bicycles or other wheeled aids is permitted in the race. Exceptions are made for people with limited mobility who cannot move without aids.
    5.2. All race participants take part in the race independently.
    5.3. Participation of runners with a child in a stroller or a wheelchair is permitted with a prior notice to the organizer, and they take place in the last lines of participants at the starting point.
    5.4. The participants are allowed to participate in the race with a dog on a leash, with a prior notice to the organizer, and they take place in the last lines of participants at the starting point.

  6. Code of conduct
    6.1. All participants must comply with the instructions of the organizer or organizer representatives at all times.
    6.2. All participants should behave in a sportsmanlike and respectful manner towards all fellow participants, spectators and event staff at all times.
    6.3. Failure to comply with the rules of sportsmanlike conduct may result in a penalty or disqualification in accordance with the organizer’s decision.

  7. Change of rules
    7.1. The organizer reserves the right to change the rules, terms and conditions, and the date/time of the races if the conditions require such changes.
    7.2. In the case of changes and amendments to the rules, the organizer will publish them accordingly on its website.
